Miscellaneous web site stuff
Why do
some of your pages take
a long time to load?
Please be patient, some of these web pages may take a moment to load as each page
contains a lot of information (graphics/pictures, text/information, etc.). Our pages are best
viewed with a download speed of 28.8 kbps and higher.
How
do I 'bookmark' a page?
To
'bookmark' any page, just hit 'Ctrl' and then 'D' (when you are on the desired
page).
How do I make
sure I am getting the latest version of your web site?
Just hit 'Reload' or 'Refresh' to find out what's
new on any page (just in case your browser does not refresh automatically).
How do I tell what pages are accessible from any specific page?
On any specific page, see the list of pages, just under the 'page
title'. This list will show which other pages are
accessible. This list may be found on most pages (only if
there are sub-pages, for the page you are on).
Are
your CanadianMoose.com products made
in Canada / USA?
Where possible, we always buy our products from Canada / USA
first. That helps provide local jobs, which helps our local economies
get stronger. We will mark those products as 'Made in Canada' or 'Made in
USA.'
NO
JOBS IN AMERICA??
"Joe Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock (MADE IN JAPAN)
for 6 a.m. While his coffee pot (MADE IN CHINA) was perking, he shaved with his
electric razor (MADE IN HONG KONG). He put on a dress shirt (MADE IN SRI LANKA),
designer jeans (MADE IN SINGAPORE) and tennis shoes (MADE IN KOREA). After
cooking his breakfast in his new electric skillet (MADE IN INDIA) he sat down
with his calculator (MADE IN MEXICO) to see how much he could spend today. After
setting his watch (MADE IN TAIWAN) to the radio (MADE IN PAKISTAN), he got in his
car (MADE IN GERMANY), and continued his search for a good paying
AMERICAN/CANADIAN JOB. At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day,
Joe decided to relax for a while. He put on his sandals (MADE IN ITALY) poured
himself a glass of wine (MADE IN FRANCE) and turned on his TV (MADE IN
INDONESIA), and then wondered why he can't find a good paying job in the
USA/CANADA…"
Can you imagine what would happen if we all decided to buy only
American/Canadian goods (and they are out there!) or NOT buy at all? And please
do not give me that Global economy garbage.
